Return and Refund Policy

This Return and Refund Policy explains our procedures regarding cancellations, refunds, and returns of vehicles rented through our platform.

By booking a vehicle with PingRentalz, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Vehicle Returns

a. Return Time

  • Vehicles must be returned on or before the agreed return date and time stated in your rental agreement.
  • Late returns may attract extra charges per hour or per day, depending on the delay.

b. Return Condition

  • Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as when received.
  • Normal wear is acceptable; however, any damage, stains, or missing accessories will be billed accordingly.
  • The fuel level must match what was provided at pickup, unless your rental plan specifies otherwise.

c. Early Returns

  • You may return a vehicle before the agreed return date.
  • However, early returns do not automatically qualify for a refund unless approved under our refund terms below.

2. Cancellations

a. Before Pickup

  • You may cancel your booking up to 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time to qualify for a partial refund (see refund terms below).
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the total booking amount.

b. After Pickup

  • Once a vehicle has been picked up, the rental is considered active and non-refundable.
  • Refunds after pickup are only considered in exceptional cases (e.g., verified vehicle faults that prevent safe use).

3. Refund Terms

Refunds are processed based on the timing and circumstances of your cancellation or return:

Additional Notes

  • Refunds will be issued only to the original payment method used for booking.
  • Refund processing may take 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • Service and transaction fees (e.g., Paystack or Flutterwave charges) are non-refundable.

4. Vehicle Issues or Complaints

If you experience a problem with your rental vehicle:

  1. Contact PingRentalz support immediately at pingrentalz@gmail.com or through the phone number provided at booking.
  2. Do not attempt to repair the vehicle yourself.
  3. Our support team will verify the issue and, if appropriate, arrange a replacement vehicle or partial refund.

Complaints must be reported within the rental period — claims made after the vehicle is returned will not be valid.


5. No Refund in Cases of Misuse or Violation

Refunds will not be granted if:

  • The vehicle is used for illegal activities or reckless driving.
  • The renter provides false information during booking.
  • The renter fails to comply with PingRentalz’s Terms of Use.
  • The vehicle is damaged due to negligence or unauthorized use.

6. Force Majeure

PingRentalz shall not be liable for refunds or penalties in cases where service delivery is disrupted by circumstances beyond our control — including natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or other force majeure events.


7. Changes to This Policy

PingRentalz may update this policy periodically.
All changes will be posted on this page.
Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
